Today we learned all about raptors! We began the day by dissecting owl pellets. In the pellets, we found mice and vole bones! We then adventured to the Snake River, where we ate lunch along the water. Following lunch, we went to the Raptor Center, where we had a lovely and interesting information session and even had the chance to meet an owl, falcon, and eagle in person! Following our tour, we went to the Swan Ponds and learned about conservation efforts near Boyle’s Hill. We even saw an Eagle fly over us! We ended the day with storytime and camouflage.
