Friday: Exploration and Celebration! Today we did a solo quote hike up Vogel’s Hill to take time to enjoy nature by ourselves and reflect on the week. Up top, we made some Andy Goldsworthy inspired artwork built entirely out of natural materials around us-rocks, twigs, branches, you name it! Some pretty incredible sculptures! After a lunch overlooking the valley, we headed back down and said goodbye to two of our team members. We spent the afternoon soaking up the sun, playing some games and water coloring. Thank you for a wonderful week! We hope you enjoyed exploring and hiking in the Tetons, and have an opportunity to use your new tech skills out in nature sometime soon!
In what ways can you use nature to create a representation of what you learned this week? Referring to the John Muir quote where he speaks about the importance of biodiversity and interconnectedness, how can you interpret that in terms of the importance of this group, your community and the place you are from?
