Monday: On our first day together as Overgrown Slimy Flies (our team name, you’ll have to ask your kids about this one…) we learned all about wildlife and the animals that call Jackson home. We took a trip to the Gros Ventre river bottom outside of Kelly, WY where we found tons of animal tracks including bison, deer, moose and muskrat! After making cool plaster casts of these tracks, we learned all about camouflage and got to practice using this skill by making and hiding marshmallow animals. After escaping the storm, we wrote our own animal tracking stories back on campus.
Follow-up Question: Ask your child to tell you where they hid their marshmallow animal and what they used to camouflage it!
