Today the mad scientists dodged the rain drops and traveled to Schwabacher’s landing to investigate macroinvertebrates. By studying these creepy crawly creatures we concluded the health of the Snake River at Schwabacher’s landing to be quite good. In the afternoon we continued working on our volcanoes by giving them a coat of decorative paint.
Follow-up question: What type of macroinvertebrates did we find today at Schwabacher’s landing?
Answer: We found a lot of different types. Some that we found were scuds, mayflies, stoneflies, caddisflies, snails, and even some leeches.
