We spent the morning on campus learning about the food chain and then took off for the Raptor Center after lunch. At the Raptor Center we learned the three qualifications for a bird to be a raptor: feet too kill their prey, curved beaks to tear flesh, and only eating meat. From there we went to R park to splash around and find macroinvertebrates in the stream.
Follow-up question: What are the five categories of Raptors in Wyoming?
