The day started with us visiting Bradley Taggart trail to observe a burn site. While at the site, students used their senses (without sight) to observe different trees in the area - dead and alive. While hiking, we identified some scat, wildlife, and plants. Later, we participated in a Karate class where we got to show off our moves! At the end of the day, we used water colors to reflect on things that we saw while hiking.
Follow-up question: What animals have jelly bean shaped scat (poop)?
Answer: rabbits, deer, elk, and moose
