Today we learned about stewardship and how we can be stewards for ourselves, each other, and the environment. We played name games before discussing stewardship as a group. After having lunch in the sunshine, we hiked to bird boxes around the Jackson Campus and recorded our findings to assist scientists and bird populations in the area!
Follow-up question: 1. What is a steward? 2. What kind of nests did we see in bird boxes?
Answer: 1. As a group, we talked about how stewards help people, the environment, and themselves by going out of their way to make the world a better place. 2. Mountain bluebird, House wren, and tree swallow
