Tuesday: Summer Sampler Foxes
Today we learned all about how people used to live in Jackson Hole. We went to Menor’s Ferry where we saw the old Ferry, got to explore the general store, and did a play inside Maud Noble’s cabin. Then we went to the Mercill center to learn about archaeology. We dug for artifacts and mapped our dig site.
Follow-up question: How did people adapt to their surroundings before modern times?
Answer: They made tools out of rocks and bones, used animal parts for different things like staying warm and repelling insects, and built boats to cross the river before there were bridges and cars.
