Today we worked on our observation skills as scientists while hiking around Granite Canyon. We had a chance to record our observational data in our journals, comparing two locations on the trail. We also learned about the interaction between abiotic, biotic, and cultural factors to create a landscape. At the end of the day, the group used their communication and teamwork skills to complete the tarp flip challenge.
